Yorkshire Line was a small independent bus operator that was based in Normanton, Wakefield, West Yorkshire but operated in Leeds, also in West Yorkshire, as well. ==History== Yorkshire Line was founded in January 2011, operating five bus routes. Vehicles were painted in a white livery with a red skirt. The mission was to link vital communities together. In March 2011, a bus driver for the company was honoured for trying to catch a bank robber when he flung open the bus doors to try to chase the bank robber down.〔(Yorkshire Line Bus Driver Chases Bank Robber ) ''Yorkshire Evening Post'', 31 March 2011.〕 In May 2011, Yorkshire Line stopped running services to Morley. Jackie Mumby, the acting office manager said, "We are now looking into the possibility of becoming a different company, which could serve Morley."
